Fundraise your way
We’re incredibly grateful for any support you can give. Without your help we couldn’t do what we do for all healthcare workers, no matter where they work.
There are so many fun ways you can get involved and make a difference by giving what you can for free – your time! You can fundraise alone, with friends or family, as part of a sports club or as a community group. Whatever you do, you’ll be playing a crucial part in helping us to support healthcare workers in accessing vital welfare and wellbeing services, when they need it most. We are so grateful for your support.

Take Part in an Event
Do you have a place in a marathon? Are you a keen cyclist, already planning which rides to enter this year? Whatever challenge you’re setting yourself, we would love you to complete it for HWF! We’ll send you a T-shirt, a pack and be here to support you with your fundraising questions!
Set up a special occasion fundraiser
There’s no better way to celebrate a special event than by giving back to others. So, we’ve made it simple to organise a fundraiser for your next special occasion. Take a look at our fundraising page set-up guide here to get started.
Fundraise in your school, college, or university.
Your primary or secondary school can support us through their fundraising activities. Your school could put on a mufti day, have a bake sale, or maybe organise NHS week activities. Children of all ages can learn new skills, find out about the wonderful work our healthcare workers do and, most importantly, have fun!
Many of HWF’s board members studied for years in medical schools and, along with their fellow students, fundraised for worthy causes as part of RAG. We would love to discuss how we can work together with your university and students.

Robert, launched an NHS Workers Appeal and raised an incredible £9,574
“What if there was the same opportunity for us to say “thank you” to the NHS workers that have worked so hard and endured so much simply because it’s their job…or because they have a sense of duty or … because they care? Care about us. All of us. Strangers they have never met before, yet immediately and unquestioningly look after…for as long as it takes to make a difference. This could make a real difference to the people who have put their lives on hold and themselves at risk…for us. It would also be nice to know we are making a positive difference for them albeit minor compared to what they have done for us.”
There’s something for everyone when it comes to fundraising. Even your own hobbies and skills can make a difference! Our fundraising pack can give you more ideas.
